H’s family and my family used to live very close when I was a kid. And they suffered a lot during the Great Cultural Revolution too like us. Later, both of us moved to other places respectively. We are old neighbors.

For decades, we, two families, have not had a meal together like this. We pick the restaurant called “Four generations live under one roof.” to bless both families to pass on generation by generation.

H’s daughter C and my sister are life long friends. After C went to USA for graduate study, they haven’t met until this meeting. So, lots of girls’ talks were going on during the meal.

Look not backward in anger nor forward in fear, but around with awareness. May the happiness and health be with us!
