Headhunting is a sales business with high pressure and tight deadlines to meet.

Back then, in Silicon Valley, I run into headhunting business by accident. Originally, I was doing a database engineer job in a headhunting firm. Afterwards, I found headhunting interesting so asked my boss for an opportunity to try. My boss said if I could do 2 jobs simultaneously, database engineer and staffing specialist, I could do headhunting. That was the beginning of my headhunting career.

After I came back to China, headhunting turned to be a moonlight job for me. I did headhunting from time to time. The most interesting thing was that I was once being hunted by other headhunters for the same position that I am filling.
